Yesterday was Valentine's Day. Your daddy and I used to not care so much about Valentine's Day... it was a holiday that wasn't much like any other day because we tried to show our love and affection every day, not just a made-up holiday. But with little toddlers, it's so so much more fun. I woke you and Ella up and smothered you in kisses. You giggled, and said "love you momma". We can't ever seem to get enough of you.
A few things we love about you:
- your sass, personality, and larger-than-life attitude. your size has NOTHING on your personality
- the way you say Ella - "Eyya"
- When you find a heart, you put it to your chest and say "boom boom"
- your beautiful blonde curly hair
- your outie belly button
- the way you SHOVEL food into your mouth, it's hilarious
- when I cut your light on each morning to wake you up, you POP up with a grin on your face - ready for the day
I mean seriously, the list could go on and on and on. We love everything about you, so those are just a few highlights. I hope you always feel an immense amount of love from both your daddy and I, and also from Ella. We want you to know that whatever decisions we make - we are doing it out of all of the love in our hearts. I hope that you know that Valentine's is just a made-up day, although a fun day, and our hope for you is to show love to everyone each and every day. We can't wait for the years to come when we can decorate Valentine's boxes, make little gifts for your friends, and fill our homes with love and laughter and lots of candy.
