Three Year Old Stats

We went for our annual three year well-check-up!
We've confirmed what we've known allllll along - healthy, thriving, and teeny tiny!

Ella

36.25"

26 lbs 8 oz

Sydney

35.5"

23 lbs 6 oz

They have been moving into 2T clothes for a bit now.  Since they've gotten taller, they really need it for length, but not width.  This summer, they are both wearing shorts from last year, since we are fully potty trained and no diaper to fill them out!  My mom worked so hard to alter all the waists to make them fit last year, she's happy to hear her work wasn't done in vain!  They are wearing 12m (Syd) and 18m (Elle) shorts.  I bet this fall they can wear 3T pants for length, but my mom is going to be busy fixing the waists!

So thankful for these healthy girls of ours.

Our Slow Dance

Tonight at dinner, we were singing songs and dancing in our seats.  Ella and Sydney said, "Momma and Daddy, your turn to dance!" 

So we did a little groove in our seats.  

They said "No, stand up and dance slow and hug!"

We started to dance together and they very loudly sang "Let it Go".

So we slow danced to the tune of two toddlers singing Let it Go.

When we were slow dancing at prom 13 years ago at prom, I never imagined it would end up as perfect as this.

This is our life and it's perfect and really hilarious.
