Love Letter to Sydney Ann

Our Dearest Sydney Ann,
It's Valentine's Day.  Love is in the air.  And not just the type of mushy love your Daddy and I share, but also the type of love that your Daddy and I have for you and your sister.  So we are going to write you a letter,

What we love about you:

• you almost always have a grin on your face
• when you laugh, it sounds almost like you can't breathe, which is seemingly horrible, but it's just so darn cute
• your raspy voice, cry, laugh.  We can't wait to hear what your voice sounds like when you can talk!
• you went through a phase in the middle of the night when you woke up and talked and talked and talked... even though we wanted to go back to sleep, we couldn't help but smile
• when you find your reflection in the bathtub and look at yourself
• your beautiful blonde hair, and it looks like it may be curly!
• your dad says he loves that you open your mouth SO wide to eat!
• you're fearless - you won't let any obstacle get in your way

Sweet, Syd, we love that you are the "baby b", and that because of you (we're going to claim that you were the "unplanned" and "spontaneous" one) you've made us something better than we had planned: lucky twin parents.  You and your sister make us happier than we could have ever imagined.  We love the life we live, and we love that you and Ella are part of the Sink Family.  We love your twin bond.  We love tucking you and your sister into bed each night, and waking up each morning to two beautiful smiles.  We hope that we show you the kind of love that you deserve, and that you will grow up being loved beyond measure.  That one day, you and Ella will grow up and take that love into the world.  And one day, will be able to share love with another person, someone that treats you like a princess, and let's you know how much they love you each and every day - not just on Valentine's Day.
