Love Letter to Ella Grace

Our Dearest Ella Grace,
It's Valentine's Day.  Love is in the air.  And not just the type of mushy love your Daddy and I share, but also the type of love that your Daddy and I have for you and your sister.  So we are going to write you a letter,

What we love about you:

• your dimple
• when you smile, it's too much for you to handle and have to look away to laugh or grin, it's too cute
• you occasionally crawl like you're a wounded soldier with a broken leg, and we laugh every time
• you laugh at everything Sydney does (well, unless she's stealing your toys)
• you love to snuggle, and always have
• you give kisses!  we put our forehead near yours, you bump yours against ours and shake your head back and forth like an eskimo kiss
• after you are done with your bottle, you hold it up in the air and giggle at it and talk to it like you just enjoyed a delicious meal... you just wait until you've had sweet tea for the first time
• the belly laughs you give when we tickle you on your thighs
• well, your belly laughs in general

Sweet, Elle, we love that you are a twin, and that you've made us one of the elite: lucky twin parents.  You and your sister make us happier than we could have ever imagined.  We love the life we live, and we love that you and Sydney are part of our family.  We love your twin bond.  We love waking up to two beautiful smiles, and tucking those same beautiful babies into bed each night.  We hope that we show you the kind of love that you deserve, and that you will grow up being loved beyond measure.  That one day, you and Sydney will grow up and take that love into the world.  And one day, will be able to share love with another person, someone that treats you like a princess, and let's you know how much they love you each and every day - not just on Valentine's Day.
