Kim does Seattle

I recently moved into another position at work, which came along with it - a work conference!   I went to Seattle with one of my work-BFF's, and we had the best time.  We learned a lot, but enjoyed ourselves, too!

amazing sunrise on our early flight out of Richmond
We had some time on our first day out there to do some sight-seeing.  First stop: Chihuly museum.  It was incredible!

Not sure whose more gorgeous: sleep deprived Kim & Pam or the Chihuly piece behind us

so stunning
The Space Needle was closed that day, so we scooted on over to have dinner.  For us, it was 6pm east coast time (and we had gotten up at 4am to catch an early flight), but we were eating dinner at 3pm Seattle time.  We felt like old ladies.  But we sat at a table at the water and enjoyed a delicious seafood spread (hello company dime), and watched the water taxis bringing people in and out.

After closing our black-out curtains and going to bed at 7:30-8pm, we awoke early and headed down to the Market.

throwing fish and getting ready for the day

our amazing breakfast view.. and the food was just to die for

Since we were awake so early, we headed down to the Market each morning.  We spent each morning grabbing coffee at the ORIGINAL Starbucks

making my drink in the OG space

since the original Starbucks didn't have seating, we just walked over to another Starbucks to people watch, enjoy our drinks, and watch the sun come up

fresh Russian Piroshky's!

the freshest produce ever at the Market

and flowers galore!

We had the BEST food while we were there.  Another fantastic seafood dinner was at Etta's, and our bartender Morgan was simply the best.  Another night, we went to this speakeasy, after hearing about it a few times.  It was called.....
The Pink Door

so fancy

View from our table at The Pink Door

and we got to watch the sun set over the mountains
And finally, we were able to sneak up into the Space Needle

The views were just amazing.

FaceTiming with my girls... oh, how I missed them!  Ella was clearly not missing me hahah
Daniel held down the fort at home and, as always, is such a rockstar dad.  We are all so lucky to have him.
and finally... after a whirlwind trip, I had my girls back in my lap!
