Remember that time Ella and Sydney turned five and our families put together a surprise birthday car parade and I ugly cried in our culdesac?
Well, someone at my work saw a snippet of my video on Instagram, and asked if they could use it in a Carmax commercial. Apparently my ugly crying made everyone on the Carmax account tear up, and they thought it would make a perfect commercial.
So here I am in my commercial debut... wearing a Duck Donuts shirt, handmade princess necklace, and sobbing. The stress of two little girls turning five in the midst of a pandemic is melting away. It really was the most special and touching part of their whole day. I'll never, ever forget it.
