We've been working so hard on the outside of the house. Since the new shutters and windows, we've had other fun/annoying projects going on...
After two and a half years, I FINALLY have customized coat/purse hooks in our foyer. And I'm in love!
We've been needing to do something with our back deck for a while now. So we decided to powerwash & stain our deck. Powerwashing - no big deal. Staining - TERRIBLE. The jazillion spindles took forever. Three weekends of work later, it's beautiful!

Daniel went away for the weekend to PA, and when he arrived home, I was determined to eat outside on the deck, even though it wasn't done yet. |
|
hands down one of my most favorite parts of our new outside - the gorgeous patio lighting we strung! a few domestic violence run-ins later, we have perfection <3 |
And here is the after product... we have spent so much time outside enjoying our deck, it was well worth all of the hard work!

this is where you can find us! |
Unexpectedly, I was promoted at work! We went out and celebrated one night - thai food and 22 Jump Street
For Mother's Day, Kelly and I gave Momma a girls day out to Yorktown Beach. We finally found a free Saturday we could all do it, and enjoyed a day full of rest and relaxation on the sand! It was overcast and the temperature was mild... can't ask for much more than that. Love, love, loved all the girl time <3
Daniel is the sweetest. He planned a girl's night out (Baby Sink's due date gift) with me and the ladies of our family. We ate at Antonio's and tried our best at Paint Nite! Even though we aren't blossoming artists, we drank wine, laughed and had a great time.

Grandma Stella has been helping Ashley out a ton at her new house trying to get the yard under control. Since it's summer and pretty hot, she decided she needed a new sweat band so the sweat doesn't get into her eyes. The only thing she could find at Walmart was a sweat band with a NBA logo. Thankfully, Ashley snapped a picture of this gem... I haven't laughed so hard in a longggg time.
Then some random stuff happened that required documentation...
